Azriela Jaffe is the author of fifteen published books, including two holocaust memoirs, "What Do You Mean, You Can't Eat in My Home?", a kosher cookbook, and several other books on a variety of topics. She is a regular writer for Mishpacha magazine, part-time Project Manager to Rabbi David Fohrman, and our English Professor on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She teaches our bochurim English 101, English 102, Public Speaking, Journalism, and Business Writing.

She works hard so she can get our students to send her an email like the one she just got from a student after teaching a summer intensive English 102:  "Thanks for making the summer class a lot more interesting and (dare i say it) more fun then it could have been." And that's what she loves about teaching at Yeshiva at IDT.

She says:  "The students are here to learn and to prepare for their parnussa. Who says learning has to be dry and boring? They are a happy, diverse bunch of guys who enjoy being together and are enthusiastic, committed, and smart. We enjoy learning in a creative way so that the learning really sticks with them and isn't just going through the motions to get the grade. They challenge me, and I challenge them, and we have fun!"
